(MG: NYSE), a leading "one source" multinational provider of integrated technology-enabled asset protection solutions, today announced the hiring of Jocelyn Gabrynowicz Hill as the company’s Vice President, Assistant General Counsel, and Assistant Secretary, effective March 4th, 2024.

Ms. Gabrynowicz Hill joins MISTRAS with nearly 20 years of experience in strategic planning, corporate governance, risk management, government affairs, business valuation, and finance matters. In her new role, she will work closely with MISTRAS Group’s Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary, Michael C. Keefe, on matters related to corporate governance and Board of Director matters, Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) compliance, risk management, labor and employment issues, contract review and management, intellectual property protection, cybersecurity, and more.

Ms. Hill is a seasoned General Counsel, known for successfully executing complicated, large-scale energy and infrastructure projects. She most recently served as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary for Conrail, a jointly-owned subsidiary of Norfolk Southern and CSX. In this role, she served as a legal advisor to the Board of Directors and C-Suite executives on matters of corporate strategic planning, federal and state Public-Private Partnership (P3) projects, corporate safety and cybersecurity protocol development, and balancing legal cost control and spending. In addition to her Conrail roles, Ms. Hill was also Corporate Secretary for the Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad in Chicago, and is a board member of the Schuylkill River Development Corporation. She served as chair of the Michigan Rail Association and was the chair of the Keystone State Railroad Association. Jocelyn also served as a commissioner on the Philadelphia Gas Commission, and has served on the board of various non-profits, including Operation Homefront, CraftNow, and SOSNA.

Her recent accolades include recognitions as a “Rising Star” by Progressive Railroading Magazine (2018); “Women in Rail” awards by the International Railway Journal (2023) and Railway Age Magazine (2020); as “Best of the Bar” by Philadelphia Business Journal (2020); and the “In-House Impact” Pennsylvania Legal Award for Professional Excellence by the Legal Intelligencer (2020).

Ms. Hill earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law, and is admitted to the bar in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English from Kenyon College. She is a LEED-accredited (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) professional with a specialty in building design and construction (LEED AP BD+C), received a certificate in Railway Management from Michigan State University, and is a certified railroad conductor.
