Position Summary

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join our team, based in Over, Cambridgeshire as a Project Manager.

The Project Manager role provides primary support to the Head of Projects and Head of Monitoring covering structural monitoring, acoustic emission and non-destructive testing schemes throughout the UK and territories in which the UK business operates (onshore and offshore). Managing multiple projects for the Operations team.

Major Responsibilities/Activities
  • Significant experience of managing complex, high value (>£5M) and/or high-risk projects, preferably within the Offshore Wind industry and UK Construction Industry
  • Substantial contractual experience in managing contracts –Tier 2 NEC 3 & NEC 4 contracts highly desirable.
  • Proven background in pre and post contract negotiation
  • Commercially focused and financially literate
  • Extensive risk management experience
  • Engineering background (civil, structural, mechanical or electrical) (desirable)
  • Project management Qualifications (APM, PMI, etc) (desirable)
  • Good working knowledge of UK Health and Safety Legislation. H&S qualification e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH (desirable)
  • Experience working on offshore Wind projects.
  • Experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Experience with Civil/Structural, Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation & structural monitoring systems.
  • Technical knowledge of materials, defects and damage
  • Familiar with working in the highway, buildings and/or rail environment, particularly in site working
  • Clean, Valid Driving license
  • Able to travel across the UK in line with the requirements of the role
  • Good IT skills, able to proficiently use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat PDF writer.
  • No restrictions to work in the UK or abroad.
