Position Summary

Position Summary

The NDT Technician (Multi-Skilled) will carry out NDT tests and examinations on our client sites across the UK.  You will take a lead role in the onsite delivery of NDT services supporting the Operations Managers and Project Managers with the following:

Responsibilities:

• Performing NDT inspections in accordance with company procedures and relevant standards.
• Interpret inspection results in accordance with applicable standards and specifications.
• Perform equipment checks and calibrations as required.
• Collect and collate inspection data with sketches and images where applicable.
• Generate technical reports.
• Perform all work in line with MISTRAS safety work practices and procedures.​

Essential Certification / Qualifications:

• PCN UT Level 2 (3.1 / 3.2)
• PCN MPI Level 2
• PCN DPI Level 2

Desirable Qualifications:

• PCN Eddy Current Level 2
• PCN UT Level 2 (3.8,3.9)
• PCN VT Level 2
• PCN L2 ACFM Level 2
• IRATA Rope Access Level 1
• API 570
• MIST
• CCSNG / CSCS
• C&G Confined Space

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 1 x Level 2 PCN qualifications outlined above.
• Have a good general knowledge of all commonly used NDT methods, including their limitations.
• Good level of attention to detail
• Good communication and report writing skills
• Good level of IT Skills
• Demonstrable experience in preparation of work packs
