Multi Skilled NDT Technician

Position Summary

The NDT Technician (Multi-Skilled) will carry out NDT tests and examinations on our client site at Tame Valley and provide the results in a series of reports which are then delivered back to the client.  You will take a lead role in the onsite delivery of such services, supporting the Operations Managers and Project Managers with the following:

Responsibilities:

• Performing NDT activities in line with the work pack in a safe and efficient manner.

• Following MISTRAS safety work practices and procedures.​

Essential Certification / Qualifications:

• PCN UT Level 2 (3.1 / 3.2)
• PCN MPI Level 2
• PCN DPI Level 2
• IRATA Rope Access Level 1

Desirable Qualifications:

• PCN ET Level 2 (Welds)
• PCN UT Level 2 (3.8 / 3.9)
• MIST
• CCSNG
• CSCS
• C&G Confined Space

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 2 x Level 2 PCN qualifications (from above)
• Have a good general knowledge of all commonly used NDT methods, including their limitations.
• Experience of performing NDT activities at height.
• Demonstrable experience in preparation of work packs
