Position Summary

You will be required to contribute to the development of project planning and associated documentation prior to site mobilisation. Once on site, you will play a key role in installation, testing and commissioning of the SHM systems prior to handover to our online monitoring (OLM) team.

Major Responsibilities/Activities

Throughout the lifetime of the SHM system, there will be a requirement to carry out routine system maintenance, so you’ll be working with our OLM team on a regular basis to ensure our portfolio of systems remain online and operational for our clients. The role will also be required to perform site-based NDT field inspections for our clients within oil and gas, industrial and civil sectors (training will be provided).

Previous experience of the following advantageous:

• Working on industrial work sites.
• Fundamental knowledge of site health and safety practices. Basic safety certification advantageous - eg CSCS or CCNSG.
• Basic understanding of the fundamentals of electrical based monitoring systems and data loggers.
• Knowledge of IT equipment to include PCs, routers and network switches.
• Ideally experience with installation of different sensing technologies and systems on site.
• Ability to travel to clients sites for installations ( up to a month in duration).
