MISTRAS' Calhoun, GA - USA lab is your OneSource provider of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) solutions throughout the Greater Atlanta area - Central Georgia to North Georgia, Central Tennessee to East Tennessee, and Central Alabama to North Alabama - with pickup and delivery services available.
The Calhoun lab is a centrally-located facility and we offer a full range of traditional and advanced NDT and QA for in-house inspections and field services in the Nuclear, Aerospace, Defense, Commercial Space, Manufacturing, Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Construction, Transportation, Pharmaceutical, Fabrication, and Marine Industries. Our NDT laboratory in Calhoun is NQA-1, N45.2.6, PED, Nadcap, and AC7004-certified to perform a wide variety of NDT techniques.
Our ever-evolving list of approvals from Nuclear and Aerospace Prime Contractors includes Duke Energy Nuclear Division, Southern Power Nuclear Division, Muller - Henry Pratt Nuclear Valve Division, Pratt & Whitney, Blue Origin, and many more. Our in-house NDT training facility allows us to develop our employees into well-qualified and well-rounded technicians and inspectors. Our lab also provides ASNT Level III support for customers acting as Level III of record for customer NDT programs including, ASNT, and NAS-410 Certified Responsible Level III (Methods VT, PT, MT, LT, CR & RT). Additionally, the lab provides NDT personnel training per SNT-TC-1A and NAS-410 locally and at customer locations.
We provide QA, QC, Fabrication, and Quality Program consultation for customers, consulting, and testing of welding programs per ASME Section IX, API 1104, AWS D1.1, D1.6, D17.1, and many other codes. We can assist with manual, semiautomated, automated, and remote view welding in GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, SAW, SMAW, LBW, and EBW.
