MISTRAS Employees at Chevron Salt Lake Refinery Extend Safety Performance

Princeton Junction, NJ - May, 2017 - MISTRAS Group, Inc. (NYSE: MG) is pleased to announce that employees at Chevron’s Salt Lake (Utah) Refinery achieved three consecutive years of 25,000+ hours worked with zero recordable injuries.

MISTRAS provides a wide range of asset protection services at the Salt Lake refinery. The team conducts an array of nondestructive testing (NDT) inspection services, ensuring that equipment is operating safely and in compliance with industry and regulatory codes.

“We’re really proud of the safety-conscious work that our employees at this location have done,” said Chris Smith, Group Vice President of Corporate Compliance. “Our relationship with Chevron means a lot to MISTRAS. This achievement shows that our Salt Lake crew recognizes that and understands how they can maximize the value they bring to our company.”

“Our commitment to safety isn’t just lip service,” said Jeremy Coley, General Manager of MISTRAS’ Salt Lake lab. ‘We take our work very seriously, and it’s all done in support of keeping the people on-site as safe as possible.”

MISTRAS employees recently also reached a safety milestone at another Chevron facility, having completed over one million consecutive hours of work with zero recordable injuries at the Pascagoula, Mississippi refinery.

Please join us in congratulating the Salt Lake team and wishing them the best of luck as they continue to represent MISTRAS.
